Meet the DRIVEN staff.

Uriah Young is the founder of QFTD and is in the business of encouraging others to be the best they can be. As an educator, publicist, writer, and blogger, he is driven to make the world a better place through each of his endeavors. He is the founder and owner of Skies Without Limits Publicity Firm, offering exposure for writers, actors, and musicians. In education, he's taught in New Jersey since 2002, and he has been published twice on the National Education Association's website. A graduate of Hampton University, with a graduate degree in education, Uriah studies the footsteps and paths of Gandhi, Booker T. Washington, and Dr. King. The words from Rudyard Kipling's poem, "If", are ones he tries to live by. Currently, he serves on the board for the Philadelphia Writers' Conference.

Anita Nahal, Ph.D., CDP Certified Diversity Professional (CDP), consultant, educationist, professor, author, poet & dancer, is also the Founder & Chairperson of www.diversitydiscover.com. Her professional positions include, Assistant Provost for International Programs, Howard University, Visiting Associate Professor, Binghamton University, Associate Professor, Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi, India; and Adjunct Professor, George Mason University.  Besides two academic books, Nahal has one book of poems and three children’s books, and over 30 articles in journals and blogs. She writes periodically on LinkedIn.  Nahal’smost recent data oriented study on Ethnic and Cultural Diversity at HBCUs was published as a chapter in a book in 2015.  Her recent poems can be found in Aberration Labyrinth and Confluence. Nahal has travelled to 15 countries and speaks three foreign languages, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu. She is deeply involved in community service in women’s & children’s issues, diversity & multiculturalism, education achievement gap and Medicare. Nahal has one son who is the light of her life.

Justin Meltzer is an educator in the Philadelphia School system and a Teach for America alumnus. Passionate about educational equity, he has been involved in multiple initiatives that have expanded opportunities to this end. As a curricular consultant, teacher coach, and teacher leader, he is driven to maximize student and community engagement among socio-economically disadvantaged populations. Justin is a graduate of Brandeis University and received his graduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania. 

L.A. Strucke is an award-winning songwriter. She was granted prizes for two of her songs through Billboard's songwriting contests. L.A. is a member of SCBWI and ASCAP. In addition to her musical talent,  she's been published in numerous Chicken Soup For The Soul books and Guideposts magazine. As a contributor to Chicken Soup, her stories have inspired people from around the world. Strucke is a graduate of Rowan University and the Institute of Children's Literature. She has raised four amazing children and is now pursuing her dreams. She is working on her debut novel. She looks forward to bringing your inspiring story to the website!
